Typical customers include banks, retail stores, law firms, health care facilities, schools, and any organization with branches or remote offices, telecommuters, and individual users.
Offered at an affordable price, CiscoPro access solutions provide simple operation and maintenance, giving you the long-term benefit of reduced cost of network ownership. All CiscoPro products are easily managed using CiscoVision(TM) network management software, which offers a standards-based solution for graphically configuring, monitoring, and managing your entire network.
The CiscoPro CPA750 access products give workgroups, small offices, and individual PC, Apple Macintosh, or UNIX users economical, high-speed connectivity to enterprise networks and the Internet.
All CPA750 products connect an Ethernet LAN or an individual computer to an Integrated Services Digital Network (ISDN) Basic Rate Interface (BRI) at speeds up to 512 kilobits per second (kbps) with 4:1 compression. All models support Ethernet 10BaseT and 10Base2 LANs, with communication over the IP and Novell IPX protocols.
Options in the CPA750 models provide an "all-in-one" package, saving both cost and effort for ISDN connectivity. A built-in ISDN Network Termination 1 (NT1) device on CPA752 and CPA753 models eliminates the need for a separate NT1 and power supply for users in the U.S. and Canada. The analog (POTS) interface on the CPA753 models supports standard home or office phone lines, enabling users to avoid the cost of a second line by connecting their computer, telephone, fax, modem, or answering machine to the CPA753 product.
The CiscoPro CPA751 provides an ISDN BRI "S/T" interface for connecting to an external ISDN NT1 device. This configuration is ideal for use in countries in which the NT1 is provided by the telephone company or for customers who prefer to use an external NT1.
The Cisco ConnectPro software, a Microsoft Windows-based application included with all models, simplifies installation, configuration, and monitoring of CPA750 series products.
The CiscoPro CPA750 products also make it easy to connect to different networks through unique Personal Network Profiles, which store access information for users such as login data and protocol settings. For example, a user may save one profile for connecting to the office LAN and another for connecting to the Internet.
