The S-1200 T4 is a low-profile, stackable, 12-port, Class I 802.3u Fast ethernet repeater (hub) that integrates Fast ethernet into networks that utilize voice grade CAT 3 UTP cabling. The S- 1200 T4 can connect up to 12 separate network devices, to build Fast ethernet networks quickly and cost-effectively. The twelfth port serves as an optional uplink port, and two additional stacking ports offer scalability for growing networks.

With CAT 3 UTP, the S-1200 T4 allows you to use the voice grade cable already installed in your network. The twelfth po@ on the S-1200 T4 can easily be configured as an uplink po@ to a switch or bridge with the touch of a button, without requiring a special cable. The scalable architecture lets you stack up to five S-1200 T4's, to create a single Fast Ethernet segment of up to 60 devices, with a combined diameter of up to 200 meters (650 feet). And, the S-1 200 T4 operates in any Fast Ethernet environment, with support for all Ethernet frame types and protocols.

Repeating the easy way

The S-1200 T4 provides port level LEDs for Link Integrity and Source Activity (which reports the originating port for traffic repeated across the device) and unit level LEDs for Power, Collision and Activity, to keep you from guessing. A low-profile, 19" rack mountable design makes the S-1200 T4 easy to install and maintain. Power supply adjusts automatically between 110 and 220 volts for worldwide use.
