NetportExpress(TM) PRO/100 Print Servers

NetportExpress PRO/100 Print Servers

The only print server you will ever need at 10 or 100Mbps.

Key Features

Intel's award-winning family of print servers now includes two versions that support the worldwide momentum toward powerful Fast Ethernet technology. The NetportExpress(TM) PRO/100 print server comes in a 3-port version that gives you 10/100Mbps connectivity for about the same price as 10Mbps-only. And now Intel has added a lower priced single-port version that's a cost-effective solution for connecting just one printer to the network.

NetportExpress(TM) PRO/100 Print Servers, available in single-port and 3-port versions, combine 10/100Mbps flexibility with high performance and centralized management.

Both versions are designed for optimal flexibility, so you can install the Intel NetportExpress PRO/100 print server on segments running at 10Mbps, then effortlessly move to 100Mbps as your networking needs evolve.

One easy-to-use management tool
Both versions of the NetportExpress PRO/100 print server include Netport® Manager software, a Windows*-based tool that makes installation, configuration and management a snap in any networking environment. Netport Manager supports both 10Mbps and 100Mbps segments and allows you to manage any NetportExpress PRO/100, NetportExpress PRO, NetportExpress XL/EL or Netport II print servers on the network from one application. Netport Manager features include:

Robust multi-protocol support
Both versions of the NetportExpress PRO/100 print server offer native support for all popular network operating systems and protocols, across all ports simultaneously. You can use these print servers in Windows NT* environments via IP or NetBEUI, in pure UNIX* environments, in NetWare* environments (including NDS) and in AppleTalk* environments.
